LADA Institute can be traced to Atuguba and Associates (A&A), a legal firm set up in 2006. The Founder and Team Leader, Raymond Atuguba, was then a lecturer at the Faculty of Law, University of Ghana, executing a small number of personal projects, assisted by Research Assistants and students from the Faculty of Law.
